This is the real original sound of Robert Schroeder's original DOUBLE FANTASY and the second album after the successful debut "Universal Ave." from 1986, which have had especially in the USA under the music destription "californian dreaming" sensation success and which reached the US charts.
The duet DOUBLE FANTASY is now called FOOD 4 FANTASY and the new guitar player is Phil Molto (before Charly McLion). This second album attaches seemlessly in the typical style and sound of Universal Ave.. "The secret of dreamin" gives you the feeling of the sun, freedom, adventure, experience and relaxation.
Just once half a year after publication of his 14th solo album brainCHIPS (Spheric Music SMCD-2010 /11) there waits Robert Schroeder on with a long desired and hardly expected subsequent album of his almost quite legendary DOUBLE FANTASY project from end of the 80s. At that time there were disagreements with the record company which had prevented living of Schroeder's original Double Fantasy. Now the record company is flat and Schroeder existed still - and with it now also again DOUBLE FANTASY, just only under new name. But it depends on the music - and it has survived likewise without damage to the environment and now is continued by Robert Schroeder, here alias DREAMSTAR.
When Lambert Ringlage, owner of the publishing label SPHERIC MUSIC, heard the CD from FOOD 4 FANTASY, he was completely inspired, his first words were:
"yes, a nice work you have produced there! Cool sounds!"
Lambert circumscribed the music further with:
Track 1: Exciting Atmo-Intro, to me famously seeming rhythm starts.
Track 2: hypnotically (Ashra associations), as if one on a highway wide distances by sceneries hindurchfährt.
Track 3: guitar sounds remind me of Eroc (cloud trip).
Track 4: Spacy beginning, the "stumping maschine" starts, the distorted melodic e-guitar
.............starts ... first-class!! Also I like the application of the drums. Power desire for joining in!
Track 9: Cool application! Rhythm, sequence and e-guitar brilliantly!!
Track10: likes me, nicely spherical
Track11: Really! Nice bass, nice around-application, great e-guitar!!

All in all - a sunny fresh breeze in the typical original Double Fantasy sound. If one must simply have belonged. Is able to one also, because the CD chock-full with music (78 min.!) "the secret of dreamin" of FOOD 4 FANTASY is published on the 20th May, 2006, on Lambert Ringlage SPHERIC MUSIC of course (catalogue No.: SMCD-2012). Have great fun. |
