Relaxation is very important for the psyche and works best with the right music.
Robert Schroeder's new album is called Relaxesizer and naturally offers the ideal basis for extended relaxation. The album title is obvious: relaxation music played with a synthesizer, just Relaxesizer. In any case, the Klaus Schulze pupil has been familiar with highly relaxing compositions since 1979 and can still come up with imaginative and extraordinary spherical electronic music even with his 48th solo album. On this album,
Robert has brought together and applied the essence, the sum of his musical experience and development. With Relaxesizer, he has clearly undergone a musical transformation, a maturing of his development. The result is an album well worth listening to.
We can therefore look forward to the release of this highly listenable new album on November 1, 2025.
The release will be on Spheric Music (SMCD-2048).

Finally ! MOSAIQUE now on CD in a limited edition
I recorded my third album Mosaique (1981) in Klaus Schulze's IC studio in Winsen/Aller. This album was and is somewhat atypical for the typical electronic music of the early 1980s. Not only pure synthesizer sounds formed the overall sound, but also conventional instruments such as bass guitar, electric guitar and real drums played a not insignificant role here. Schulze had also drawn inspiration from the local heather spirit. Charly Büchel, who played the electric guitar via a voice box, really got going with the Heidegeist, which we also called Heidschnucken. Incidentally, our well-known Tommy Betzler (and Fred Severloh) played the drums.
At the time, this album was only released on vinyl LP, as the CD was not yet available. Later, however, when the CD was available as a medium, the record company could not decide to release it on CD.
Last year I was able to obtain the publishing rights for a CD from da-music GmbH. The LP's rather short playing time of approx. 35 minutes has been sonically refreshed and extended by two bonus tracks to a total of over 50 minutes.
IC also shot a video for the 1981 Mosaique production, also in Klaus Schulze's IC studio
(see YouTube (https://youtu.be/DIC0-_7DPQE) and on NEWS-music records).
The official release date is the 20th of May 2025 on Spheric Music (SMCD-RS1981), limited edition 500 pcs.

In 2005, I, Robert Schroeder, switched to Lambert Ringlage's music label Spheric Music in Essen. The first release on Spheric Music was the album “BrainChips”.
A worthwhile step, because today, 20 years later, I have successfully released over 30 CD albums on Spheric Music.
Robert about Lambert: “Back in 2005 I said to Spheric Music <small but mighty>. Lambert has done very good press work over the years ... and best of all, Lambert has been a very honest and sincere partner for my releases. I'm very happy to have made the move to Spheric Music back then, especially as my time with other record companies had been fraught with problems of all kinds.
Thank you very much, Lambert."
Lambert on Robert: “Robert's music was always with me in my youth. I once saw him live in the WDR Sendesaal and I already had a good impression of him back then. In 2005, I was already looking back on 14 years of label work and it was a great stroke of luck to be able to win Robert over as one of the EM pioneers as well as a driving force for my label. Over the years, Robert has created numerous new albums that have always impressed with their innovative and, above all, multi-dimensional sounds. But special highlights were also recordings from the old days, such as D.MO Vol. 4 (Harmonic Deccadence, 1978), Cygnus-A and Floating Music Edition 2023. Robert and I can now look back on 20 very fruitful years."
And today we can also announce the next release on Spheric Music. There will be a special CD release in May 2025, for which Robert was able to acquire the publishing rights for the 1981 CD MOSAIQUE from da-music GmbH. MOSAIQUE was never released on CD. With the rights I have now received, I have edited two bonus tracks and refreshed the sound of the four tracks from the original release.
More information coming soon.

Robert Schroeder / Observer
we observe - and we are observed
Humanity's greatest interest probably lies in observing the universe. We are constantly searching for the origin and future of our existence, we are looking for new planets that are viable for us, we are searching for new deposits of raw materials and we are searching for alien life forms. We dream of other and distant worlds. We dream and our imagination turns our longing into reality. The right music helps us to do this.
iThe CD album D.MO Vol.5 was just released in February of this year and the next brand new album is already following under the title Observer. The release will be at the beginning of September 2024 on Spheric Music.
The new album D.MO Vol.5 is finished and will be released on Spheric Music in February/March 2024.
D.MO is the abbreviation for DEMO. The music consists of unreleased archive material from back then, from 1979 to the end of the 1990s. It's always music that didn't really fit on Robert's planned albums. Among them are often beautiful tracks that have simply been left in the archive - but are far too good not to be released. The D.MO series was created from such pieces and has already filled five CD albums.
