"Die Rollende Druckerei" product-information

From a big printer Robert Schroeder got in 1983/84 the order to produce a maxisingle for advertising purposes. "The rolling printers" were one of the Printers Achilles developed mobile printers which were accommodated in a coach. Thus the "rolling printers" could drive to the customers and unwind on site the hasty print orders.
As a publicity stunt there was the printers coach as a model. In this approx. 10 cm long model, a van, a record player with amplifier and loudspeaker was integrated. One could put this model coach on the maxisingle and he played the maxisingle, while he drove down to the record groove.
The musical contents of the vinyl maxisingle were less "electronic music" than even more a functional music with a spoken advertising slogan.
