of releases by Innovative Communication

The Label IC (Innovative Communication) was founded in 1978 by Klaus Schulze as a label for Electronic Music.

	The absolutely first vinyl records of IC (there does not exist CDs at that time) were released with a silver label design (picture left). Robert Schroeder's LPs "Harmonic Ascendant" und "Floating Music" count also to these first releases of Schulzes IC-label.

	Two years later the label IC has changed the design of the record labels into negative. From now on also the IC LP releases from the first two years were manufactured with this new negative label design. Collectors should search for both, LPs with silver and with black labels.

	1984 the IC label was sold to the German record company da-music. From now on all old IC releases were manufactured with the label from "Racket Records" (da-music).
