Early 1987 Robert Schroeder has published the number eight of his solo career. TIMEWAVES is a journey through the history of electronic devices and synthesizer times. Here many moods are included, which have evolved from the nearly 20-years synthesizer history. From meditation up to great soundscapes, soft electronic and beautiful sounding synthi pop rhythms.

Particularly the CD version TIMEWAVES with his over 60-minute repertoire is once again a masterpiece which received approval with idea, composition, production and sound as a reference for 1987. Because Schroeder reached with his album TIMEWAVES in the WDR Vote 1987 dreamlike ranges: TIMEWAVES became the third best album of the year 1987, Robert Schroeder to the second most popular artist and the title THE MESSAGE to the best track, the No.1 of the year 1987.

The title THE MESSAGE originally was not intended for a LP release, but should be produced for a well known entertainment factory. THE MESSAGE should be used as a demonstration music for high quality car HiFi systems.

The CD version contains a bonus track IMAGINE and a longer version of the title WAVESPAPE as the LP version. TIMEWAVES is exciting and relaxing Electronic Music like Chill Out, Lounge, Space, Berlin School and Ambient music.

At the same time Robert Schroeder founded the duo DOUBLE FANTASY (Robert Schroeder here alias DREAMSTAR and Charly Büchel alias Charly McLion). The debut album Universal Ave. reached the US Billboard charts within a short period of time.
